Worksheets and how they differ from quotes

A worksheet is the internal costing document on the project's Worksheet tab.

It is not the customer-facing quote: quotes are what you present, worksheets are where the job is costed and reconciled.

  • Worksheet kinds: Worksheet and Amendment.
  • Worksheet statuses: Draft, Submitted, Approved, Edited, Rejected, Invoice Recorded.
  • Sections a worksheet line can sit in: Change Order, Discount, Worksheet, Insurance Claim, Supplement, Upgrade, Work Not Doing.

Recording an invoice is an action on the worksheet, which is how a costed worksheet becomes an invoice (and, when QuickBooks is connected, syncs there).

Permissions: View on Worksheet, Create on Worksheet, Modify on Worksheet.

Who can do this

Access in Trussi is a capability granted to a role. If one of these is missing from your role, an account admin can grant it; see roles, permissions and why something is hidden.

  • View on Worksheet
  • Create on Worksheet
  • Modify on Worksheet
