Estimating & quotes

Roofing estimates out the door the same day.

Measurements in, branded proposal out. Reusable templates, live supplier pricing, and margin built into the number before it reaches the homeowner.

Measurements become line items, not a PDF someone retypes

The slowest part of most roofing estimates is not the pricing, it is the transcription. A report comes back as a PDF, somebody reads squares and pitch off it, and types them into a quote. That is where errors enter, and it is why a job measured Tuesday morning gets quoted Wednesday afternoon.

Trussi imports measurements as structured values from EagleView, HOVER, GAF QuickMeasure, and RoofScope. Squares, pitch, ridge, hip, valley, eave, and rake land in the estimate fields directly, so the estimator is checking numbers rather than entering them. A report delivered at ten becomes a proposal sent at ten thirty.

Your pricing, your margin, applied consistently

Estimate templates carry your labor rates, your material assemblies, and your target margin. When supplier integrations are connected, material pricing is pulled live from your own Beacon, ABC Supply, or SRS account rather than from a price list somebody last updated in the spring - which is the difference between a quoted margin and a realized one.

Waste factor is handled explicitly instead of by habit. Trussi suggests a percentage from roof complexity and your own historical jobs, shows it next to whatever the measurement report returned, and lets the estimator decide. Over a season, waste is one of the largest silent margin leaks in a roofing business, and a suggestion that is grounded in your own history is considerably better than a number a rep half remembers.

Because margin is calculated as the estimate is built, a discount requested on the phone can be answered honestly. The estimator can see what the concession does to the job before agreeing to it.

Send, sign, and move to production

Finished estimates render as branded proposals and go out for signature through DocuSign without leaving the job. Envelope status - sent, viewed, signed - shows on the project, so follow up is based on whether the homeowner actually opened it.

A signed estimate moves the job forward: production scheduling opens, material orders can be placed against the approved scope, and invoicing knows what was sold. Nothing is re-entered, and the scope that was signed is the scope that gets built and billed.
