For the back office
Books that balance themselves.
Invoicing, collections, commissions, and job profitability handled from the same records the field already works in - so nothing gets typed twice.
The end of double entry
The back office in most roofing companies is a translation layer. Sales writes a contract, production orders material, the field reports hours, and someone in the office re-types all of it into an accounting system that knows nothing about jobs. Every one of those transcriptions is a chance to be wrong, and all of them cost time nobody has in July.
Because Trussi invoices from the signed scope and syncs two ways with QuickBooks Online, the translation layer disappears. Invoices, payments, expenses, and customers move between the systems on their own, and each one lands against the job it belongs to.
Collections you can actually work
A roofing job frequently has three payers - the carrier, the homeowner, and sometimes a finance company - and a single aging number tells you nothing useful about any of them. Trussi tracks each payer separately against the same job, so the receivable breaks out by who owes it.
That is what makes a collections day productive. Adjuster follow ups and homeowner follow ups are different work with different scripts, and being able to sort by payer is the difference between working the list and staring at it. Approved supplements and change orders raise the expected total explicitly, so the original invoice does not quietly become wrong.
Commission and job profit without a spreadsheet
Commission runs off job costs that are already attached to the job, so a profit based payout can be calculated rather than estimated. The rep can see the same numbers, which removes most of the monthly negotiation.
Job level profit and loss is available while the job is still open, because material orders, labor, and subcontractor invoices post as they occur. The office is reporting on the business instead of reconstructing it.
