Your first week with Trussi
A recommended order for learning Trussi in your first week, from signing in to building your first quote.

Sign in
Trussi runs in your browser. Sign in with the email address and password an admin set up for you. If you don't remember your password, use the forgot-password link on the sign-in screen to reset it.
From here, working through the following in order will get you further, faster, than clicking around at random.
1. Find your way around
Before you touch a project, spend a few minutes with the sidebar. It's the map for everything else in this list: where Projects live, where Production and its scheduling and order screens sit, and where Executive, Reports and your own account settings are.

2. Understand leads versus projects
Trussi doesn't have a separate "lead" record that later turns into a "job" record. Everything is a project, from the first phone call to the finished roof, and understanding that now will save you from hunting for a lead that was never a separate thing to begin with.

3. Create your first project
With that out of the way, create one. The form asks for a handful of things (which location owns it, the customer, the address, and a few option-list values like lead source and job type) and everything else about that job hangs off the project you create here for as long as it exists.

4. Get measurements onto it
A quote needs numbers to work from. If your account has a measurement provider connected, order a report straight from the project. If it doesn't, or you already have a report in hand, you can upload it or type the measurements in by hand instead: either way they land in the same place and feed a quote the same way.

5. Build a quote
With measurements on the project, build your first quote from its Quotes tab. A quote holds your material and labor lines, and it's the customer-facing document you'll actually present, separate from the internal costing sheet the job gets reconciled against later.

6. Know where to get help
Last, know where to go when something doesn't make sense. Report an Issue, at the bottom of the sidebar, opens a support drawer where you can raise a ticket and see replies from the Trussi team on the same thread. Help & Training, in your user menu, holds written guides and walkthrough videos for everything else covered in this list and more.
