The mobile app
The Trussi mobile app puts your projects, quotes, checklists and photos on your phone, signed into the same account as the web CRM.

What the app is for
Trussi has a phone app for iPhone and Android, separate from the web CRM you use in a browser. It is built for people who are on the move between jobs and appointments rather than sitting at a desk, so it covers the day-to-day work on a project: checking your schedule, opening a project, moving it through the pipeline, building a quote, uploading photos, and getting notified the moment something needs you.
It is the same sign-in and the same account as the web CRM, not a separate product. A project, customer or quote you open in the app is the same record you would see on the web, filtered by the same locations and the same permissions. What is different is the shape of the work: the app is built around one project at a time, out in the field, while company-wide administration (account settings, user management, reports, the executive dashboards, and production-side screens like the Order Manager, Quote Templates and the Scheduler Manager) is web only.
What you can do from the app
On a project, the app covers most of what the field side of a job needs:
- View and search your projects and customers, and move a project through the pipeline stages.
- See a project's activity feed, and post and react to comments on it.
- Build, edit and duplicate quotes, and generate a quote PDF to send.
- Enter measurements by hand, or order and check the status of a measurement report if your account has a measurement provider connected.
- View and complete a project's checklists.
- Upload photos and files, with automatic categorization and a quality check on photos as they come in, and turn a voice note into text on a file.
- View company documents shared for a project's location.
- Record payments and expenses on a project, and take a card payment on the spot if your account has card payments set up.
- Open and reply to your own support tickets.
If your account routes inbound leads automatically, an offered lead can also reach you in the app as a push notification with buttons to accept or decline it, so a rep in the field does not have to be at a computer to respond to one.
Away from a specific project, the app also has its own dashboard (your pipeline counts and a recent-activity feed) and your calendar.
Push notifications
Push notifications on your phone come from the exact same events that create a notification in the web CRM: being mentioned in a comment, being assigned something, a reaction on your comment, an order's status changing, a support ticket getting a reply, and a lead going stale or escalating. There is no separate push setting inside Trussi. If you are signed into the app, anything that would notify you on the web also sends a push to your phone; if you are getting more than you want, the fix is the same one as on the web, which is trimming what you are assigned to or subscribed to rather than a volume switch.
Your device registers itself with Trussi automatically each time you open the app while signed in, so there is nothing to set up by hand to start receiving them.
Signing in and who has access
Signing into the app is a separate permission from signing into the web CRM, set per role, and shown as Sales App Login on the account's Permissions screen. By default every role can sign into the app: Account Admin, Back Office, Branch Manager, PM, Crew Lead and Subcontractor. Web access is narrower: only Account Admin, Back Office, Branch Manager and PM get it by default. In practice that means Crew Lead and Subcontractor are app-only roles unless an account administrator turns web access on for them, which matches who the app is built for: people running jobs in the field rather than working from an office screen.
A Crew Lead or Subcontractor also sees a narrower calendar in the app: by default they can see their own crew's scheduled events (shown as View Crew Calendar on the Permissions screen) rather than every event on the account's calendar.
Keep the app itself up to date. Trussi occasionally raises the minimum supported app version, and a phone running an older build will be prompted to update before it can keep working.
