Roles and permissions
Access in Trussi is a named permission granted to a role, editable per account. This is how it resolves, and why something you expected is hidden.
On this page
Access in Trussi is a capability (a named permission such as view worksheet or create payment) granted to a role. The roles are Admin, Account Admin, Back Office, Branch Manager, PM, Crew Lead and Subcontractor.
Which capabilities each role has is editable per account under account settings, Permissions, so two companies can give the same role different access. What a person can do comes from their role plus any per-account overrides, not from the user record itself.
Why something is hidden
If a menu item, tab or button is missing for you, that is almost always the answer: the capability behind it is not granted to your role. Users are also scoped to their locations, so many lists show only projects at the branches you are assigned to. An account admin can adjust either.
Adding people
People are managed under Manage Team in the menu beneath your name, where an account admin adds a user, sets their role, and assigns their locations. Deactivating a user keeps everything they touched; it only stops them signing in.
