Company-wide documents that are not attached to a project
Company documents are the files that belong to the business rather than to one job: warranties, licences, insurance certificates, spec sheets, standard terms.
They are kept per location rather than per project, so each office can hold its own set.
You will find them on the location itself: open Locations, then the location. Viewing them takes View on Company Documents and adding or changing one takes Modify on Company Documents.
They are grouped by company document category, which is a list your account controls, so you can keep warranties apart from licences rather than having one long list.
The reason they are worth filing properly: once a document is here you can attach it to an outgoing email, a message or a supplement straight from the picker, instead of finding the file on your computer every time.
Who can do this
Access in Trussi is a capability granted to a role. If one of these is missing from your role, an account admin can grant it; see roles, permissions and why something is hidden.
- View on Company Documents
