Changing a teammate's sign-in email
An admin changes someone's sign-in email on their profile: open the user and edit them (User menu › Profile), type the new address and save.
It takes Modify on User, and an address another user already signs in with is refused. Nothing moves with it. It is the same user, with the same password, projects, customers and history, and they sign in with the new address straight away. No new account is created. The new address shows as Unverified on the user's profile until they confirm it: we email it a Verify your new email link, and the old address gets a note that it changed. Clicking Verify email on that link confirms it, and so does resetting their password from an email sent to it. An admin can Resend verification from the profile; only the newest link works, and it lasts 7 days. The old address is released. Nobody signs in with it any more, so it can be used again, on this account or another. If the person types it at sign-in with their own password, they are told the address was changed and to use the new one. Someone who never accepted their invite is simply invited again at the corrected address.
Who can do this
Access in Trussi is a capability granted to a role. If one of these is missing from your role, an account admin can grant it; see roles, permissions and why something is hidden.
